'Collisions between Pop and Electronic Music' with Xavier Riembau i Rosich

Over the course of three sessions, we will examine the deep links between electronic and pop music. This history is full of surprises, spanning from the very first electronic experiments to the present day. We will explore the psychedelic sounds of the 60s, the effervescent Post-Punk scene, 80s Synth Pop, the long shadow of Kraftwerk, and the danceable adventures of Madchester. The series is led by Xavier Riembau i Rosich, a Catalan musicologist and DJ involved in numerous diverse projects, who brings his extensive expertise to these sessions.
