In the spring of 2026, Galerie Wedding presents the solo exhibition 'Malplaquetstraße 33 – Youth of a Fitter' by Ahu Dural. The exhibition uses a single apartment as a starting point to explore themes of family history, migration, labor, and female solidarity. 'Fitting' is presented here not just as the manual work performed by migrant women in the Berlin electrical industry, but as an aesthetic process of construction. It is a deeply personal and socio-political look at the lives of women in Berlin.
