About
Once a grand bourgeois summer residence and now a vibrant cultural house, the Schwartzsche Villa has witnessed 125 years of history. This exhibition introduces the villa and the Schwartz family of bankers who commissioned the building between 1895 and 1897. Through photographs, architectural drawings, and original documents, the exhibition traces the building's eventful history, especially after 1945, and the challenging journey toward its current role as a local cultural hub. Visitors are invited to explore how a private home transformed into a space for public discourse.
