About

In 1861, Dr. Eduard Levinstein established a spa and bathing facility in Neu-Schöneberg, which he later expanded into the internationally renowned private clinic known as Maison de Santé. For decades, this facility served as a place of healing for those suffering from nervous and mental disorders, remaining under family management until 1919. The exhibition showcases how Levinstein combined traditional spa culture with the cutting-edge medical technology of the time. Visitors can learn about a range of treatments, from classic water therapies to the application of innovative medical apparatus used at the clinic.
