About

Wild bees are both highly endangered and essential to our ecosystem. Germany is home to around 580 species of wild bees, which act as vital pollinators for fruit and vegetable production while preserving biodiversity in wild landscapes. However, their habitats are rapidly shrinking due to a lack of food sources and nesting opportunities. This exhibition, part of the 'More Bees for Berlin – Berlin Blooms' project, highlights the critical role of these insects and demonstrates how public spaces can be transformed into bee-friendly environments.
